We, Gumbo Tech Private Limited ("My Girlfriend") recognise that your privacy is very important and take it seriously. This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") sets out how we collect, use and disclose your data when you use My Girlfriend's mobile application ("App").

The Website and the App are collectively referred to as the "Platforms" and individually as a "Platform" as the context may require. References to "we", "our" or "us", or the "Company", shall mean the Platforms and/or Gumbo Tech Private Limited. Any references to "you", "your", or "user" shall mean any person or entity using our Platforms.

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

By using the Platforms, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. You also consent to our use and disclosure of your Personal Information (as defined below) in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

The following sections list the information we collect from you and how we use it:

1. Log-in & Age Verification Data

Information we collect: Name and email address, obtained through Google authentication (Gmail login). We also collect your date of birth or an indicative age range to confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, which is a mandatory requirement to access our Platforms. My Girlfriend does not collect phone numbers, OTPs, or third-party credentials such as WhatsApp or Truecaller.

How we use it:

To set up and facilitate log-in to a user account.
To ensure compliance with our 18+ age restriction policy.
To notify you about changes to the Platforms or this Privacy Policy.
To facilitate communication, including user support.

2. Additional Profile Information

Information we collect: Alongside the Log-in Data, we collect optional information you choose to provide during onboarding, such as your nickname, gender, and interests. This helps us match you with the most suitable AI companion personas.

3. Chat Content & Interactions

Information we collect: This comprises all information you make available during your chat sessions, including:

AI Interactions: Textual inputs provided during conversations with AI personas.
Multi-Modal Engagement: Text-based chat with future support for voice notes to enhance the "Her" movie-style connection
Media: Any photos or media you interact with or unlock within the Platform.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Content Visible to Others

The My Girlfriend app is a private interaction platform. In future, feature coming soon in the "Real Girlfriend" mode, your chat history is accessible to the assigned human companion and authorized admin personnel for the purpose of providing the service.

Disclosure to Third Parties

We may share limited data with Service Providers (hosting/AI processing), Legal Authorities (if required by law), or Affiliates (only with consent).

SECURITY PRACTICES

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures. Access is authenticated via Google Sign-In; we do not store your Google password.

YOUR RIGHTS & DATA DELETION

You may correct or delete personal information by logging into your profile. You can request complete deletion of your account and personal data by emailing support@gumbotech.in with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." verification and deletion will be completed within 30 days.
