1. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information to provide a judgment-free, high-quality chatting environment where personality takes the lead and identity remains a secret.

A. Information You Provide Directly

Log-in & Age Verification: We collect your name and email address through Google authentication (Gmail login). We also collect your date of birth or indicative age to ensure compliance with our 18+ mandatory requirement. We do not collect phone numbers or third-party credentials like WhatsApp.
Anonymous Profile Details: This includes your chosen "Mysterious Name" (nickname), gender, sexuality, and interests (selected from our gallery such as Adventurous, Poetry, Gym/Fitness, etc.).
The Secret Quiz: Your answers to the 3-4 question onboarding quiz (e.g., looking for long-term, casual, friends with benefits) which act as your profile hook.
Media & Avatars: You may upload up to 6 photos or select a stylized avatar. By default, all uploaded photos are processed through our "Blur-to-View" system.
Turn-Ons: Preferences selected from our library (e.g., Slowmance, Cuddles, Blindfold) to enhance matching.
Matches: Based on these information, your see profiles and on the basis of mutual swiping matches are done.

B. Automatically Collected Information

Location Data: With your explicit permission, we collect precise location data to facilitate distance-based filters.
Device Information: Device type, OS version, IP address, and unique identifiers.
Usage Data: Metrics on how you interact with Profile Tiles, Activity sections, and the "Mysterious/Blind Date" features.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

Core Service: To create and manage your account and facilitate anonymous connections.
The Ghost Experience: To power the "Ghost Engine," ensuring no permanent digital footprint is left behind where possible.
Safety & Verification: To enforce our 18+ age restriction and maintain a respectful, AI-moderated environment.
Personalization: To populate your Profile Tile and match you with compatible "Ghosts" based on interests and Turn-Ons.
Communication: To provide user support and notify you of platform updates.

3. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Secret Swipe is a privacy-first platform. We do not sell or rent your personal data.

Masked Profiles: Only your profile is visible to them what you have allowed to share.
Service Providers: We may share limited data with partners assisting in hosting, AI moderation, and technical operations under strict confidentiality.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights, particularly in cases involving user safety.

4. DATA RETENTION & DELETION

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services.

Active Data: Retained while your account is active.
Account Deletion: You may request complete deletion via the in-app "Delete Account" button or by emailing support@gumbotech.in.
Processing Time: Upon confirmation, your profile, chat history, and vibe matches are scrubbed immediately from the app view. Back-end data scrubbing is finalized within 72 hours.

5. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

Access and update your profile information.
Withdraw consent for location tracking at any time via device settings.
Opt-out of premium features or subscriptions via the Google Play Store.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Secret Swipe is strictly for users 18 years of age and older. We do not collect data from minors. If we identify that a user is under 18, the account will be terminated immediately, and all associated data will be deleted, immediately.

8. COMPLIANCE SUMMARY

Information Technology Act, 2000 (India).
IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data) Rules, 2011.
Google Play Data Safety and Data Deletion Requirements (2024/2025 Updates).
